PALM SPRINGS is one of our very favorite cities! We love the mountains, palm trees, endless blue skies, architecture, mid-century vibe, and the tiki bars! Our first visit to this fabulous city was in 2012 for our honeymoon, we returned in 2017 to celebrate our anniversary, and we were so excited to get back for a weekend getaway this spring.

When looking for a fun and affordable place to stay, we discovered the Palm Springs Rendezvous which is a retro boutique hotel with fabulous themed rooms. The “Pretty in Pink” suite is dedicated to Marilyn Monroe and she actually stayed in this room in the 1950s, so of course we had to book it!

The room is outrageously pink, fantastically retro, and there are images of Marilyn on every wall. We had to take advantage of this unique setting and stage a DIY cellphone photoshoot. We turned on some tunes, opened a bottle of champagne, and got creative! It was a fun way to make some memories and enjoy our stay in this one of a kind space.

We had a great time in Palm Springs and definitely recommend it for your next vacation. Maybe you can book the “Pretty in Pink” suite too!
